3 FISH LIMIT AL's BUDGET BUILD

Got some make shift exhaust on the car yesterday using the pipes and "cherrybomb" mufflers  I had laying around . They'll have to do for a while till I get more important things finished up. Sat in the DMV today for about 3 fricken hours getting plates , but thats over and I have an appointment next Tues for a front end alignment.
Glad I live here that part is easy the hard part is getting someone I trust to do the alignment.

Yeah I know what you mean. Most the shop owners down here are arrogant AHole's and Rape artists.

Got the cuda all legal begal the other day. Had the alignment done today. :steering::thumbsup: Still have a clutch issue. The pedal doesn't come all the way up on it's own. And when I let eat , the clutch pedal or something is binding up and cant push the pedal it for the next gear. Have to push hard as hell and something pops loose and then it good till I romp on it again.:wtf::BangHead:

Hood seal showed up today. forgot I even ordered it. Perfect fit.

Found it on EBAY, have gotten a couple different parts from this company. They are US made in house according to the Company. I would recommend this company if you don't like Chineseium stuff. Same price range.

Hell , They might be the only business left in Detroit.

You can see the air bag deployed and popped open the seam. My wife says she can repair that. They sure feel better than 52 year old seats. Came out of a 2015 Dart. I will have to do some modifications to get them to fit properly. So I have to make up my mind to swap em in or not.

Just when you think you got it by the balls. Murphy steps in and reminds you of his law.

Was putting my cuda seats up in the rafters and down fell a plastic water tank. Right on my hood.:bs_flag::eek::rolleyes::BangHead::mad:

@brian6pac

Anyway in order to get the new seats mounted in I had to cut the hump out of the new floor pan

Seats in . My old seats were in pretty decent shape for being 52 years old. Black vinyl down here in the summer is a bit hot.

Sorry to see Al, you can fix that later if need be.
Those seats look sharp! Nice work.
I'm gonna go back and get the back seat so I can save the cloth inserts and see if a shop can recover my rear seat with it to match

That's a real sharp dent from what I see. I do pantless dent repair and looks like that one will crack the paint and not come out very good.
Nice seats Al and like fitting most things in our old cars takes a ton of work.

Yeah, the dent is deep and has the hood support under it so I can't get to the back side.
