Got the package tray pieces in and some speakers for some tunes.
Yes can be a pain in the *** for sure. Glad you won the battle.Spent the morning duking it out with the rear windshield and seal. First time the old used seal kicked my butt , didn't get it in. scratched the paint all up around the hole. Touched it all up ,bought a new seal . Second bout not much better than the first. saved the paint but through in the towel . WINDOW 2 , AL 0 . Well today with a couple weeks of heavy training and working out the 3rd rematch was a success !
It took all 12 rounds and a split decision , But I knocked it out ! ( got it in ) Now on to bigger and better things.

Thats a lonnnnnng transmission. Will it all go in bolted together ?No not yet I need more chain and weather has been bad so will get more chain tomorrow.
The old fills the hole better than the new Steele Rubber seal . But it's in and it's stayin in .Glad ya got rear glass in, looks good.
Keep the original rear seal, worth $$.
Not sure Al but gonna try, car is raised about 18" so should clear but Iv'e been wrong before. lolThats a lonnnnnng transmission. Will it all go in bolted together ?
No, not yet ! Working on brake lines. Pain in my ***. HahaLooks BAD *** Chris. Did you get it all fired up and broke in yet?]
I put my motor/transmission in together then had to install the gearvendor unit under the car. It was too long and unbalanced to go in together. Not sure Al but gonna try, car is raised about 18" so should clear but Iv'e been wrong before. lol
Looks badass Al.Its Alive. No it's not. it's on life support . But I'm going through the electrical system.

Ya . I was thinking that looked awful long to be going in all together.I put my motor/transmission in together then had to install the gearvendor unit under the car. It was too long and unbalanced to go in together.
Thanks Desert Rat. It's gonna be a driver not a show queen , but it looks pretty good so far. What are you building?Looks badass Al.
OK was wondering if it would make it but will take your word for it and install them separate. Thanks DesertRat.I put my motor/transmission in together then had to install the gearvendor unit under the car. It was too long and unbalanced to go in together.

OK don't rub it in damn ya been freezing hereOh , I had to work with the doors closed today. It was a blistery mid 60s day. BRRRRRR.
I want to get all the under hood stuff taken care of first. Won't be long though. I have a set of headers that came with the whole deal , But I haven't even checked to see if they'll fit. Same with the 4 spd trans. I have it but don't really know anything about it. looks ok inside ! And my engine is all fresh from like 5 years ago. I hope it's still good. I also got a Eddie carb with the deal. Might have to change the valve covers. I don't think they will work togetherSo Engine going in soon Al?
I was also messing with putting the package tray and speakers in today. DO NOT BUY these speakers. The plastic grills are so fuckin thin, as soon as I put any tension on the screws they would just snap into pieces. Chinese ****. Now I have to find some more grills.Got the package tray pieces in and some speakers for some tunes.
