3 on the tree

buddy at school has a 3 speed manual (three on the tree) around at his farm. I found this out as we got to talking about our mopars. He was wondering if a 3/tree would bolt up to a small block.......i didn't know the answer so i though i'd ask you guys.
Anyone know?

Don't know any of the particulars, but I'm pretty sure that at least some of the bellhousings were made with both 3 speed & 4 speed bolt patterns. I also know that some of the 3 speed transmissions used the same bearing retainer on front as some of the 4 speeds, so it seems likely that it would work with the right parts.

yep they made 3 speed small block cars. i think it might be a little hard finding a bellhousing but its possible. good luck
