Thanks mate. Before I ordered it I called Howards and asked them about the one first suggested. When I told him I was using 1.6 rockers he basically said it wouldn't work - that the ramp on that cam was already pretty much as high as you want to go with 1.5 rockers. I really liked the specs of that cam too, pretty interesting grind compared to most other brands. I reckon the Lunati should go pretty well. No worries about the valve covers, whenever you have time Tim. My Summit order won't ship for another week - cam was on backorder.
I ordered MP DCC-4120093 head gaskets which are .040, but 4.060 in. bore. I've also grabbed a set of the Mr Gaskets so I'll see what the block surface is like and use the thinner gasket if it's not too bad.
