2.5 all the way out the back , no problem clearing the gas tank , at least no problem on any of the Darts I've owned . It will sound better , might go better and will be ready for any mods you might want to do later on .
Keep your eyes open for deals on a 4 bbl intake , old Holley street performer or Edelbrock can be had for under 100.00 then get the carb and you're ready to roll . Car will sound and go better , be a lot more fun to drive .
