Hello! I was wondering on build advice when it comes to a 318 I own.

I purchased a 360 intake and am looking for a 4 barrel carb (open to suggestions)

As far as parts I have two options for push rods
Stock length 7.5in vs shorter 7.380in
Which would be better for a camshaft with 285/285 duration .480/.480 lift

As well as the rocker arm set up. After everything between valves and springs should I keep stock style arms with the 1.5 ratio?
Or would a 1.6 ratio be better?

Lastly bearings are not listed but to be ordered. Rods will be reused with new pistons/rings/pins. Or is there a better rod suggestion

i'll start: what is your end goal. what are your expectations? what other hardware are you working with: car, trans (stall?), rear gears?

second question: why that cam?

If you're going to use 318 heads, use a 1.94 valve

Street car!

And I have not gotten the ratio out of the diff yet.
for a 318 motor in a 73 D you don't want none of that. the pistons, the cam, yuck.

it looks like you're trying to build a racy motor and i think you're just going to be disappointed in the result.
