318 head gasket question

SO IM IN THE PROCESS OF BOLTING ON MY HEADS I HAVE THE FEL PRO 1008...IS THERE A LEFT AND A RIGHT??

reason being the stamp 1008 is facing down,due to the dowl postion...

now i always thought all letters go up..did summit send me to of the same??:banghead:

You're good to go. one's gonna be upside down looking just make sure your dowels line up.

Your good to go, one will be upright and the other upside down if you will. Just line everything up and have at er.

i always like to coat my head gaskets with copper coat while i have them off just for the added protection from leaks and what not...:cheers:

There is no such thing as a RIGHT SBM Cylinder Head or a LEFT....so the gaskets are universal as well.

I second what they said....

and Thanked Earthmover....cause that is some experience talking...and worth hearing....if your gonna be doing the job...might as well do it ONCE.
