The pics are very deceiving, I thought it was an L.A. from the pics but when he opened the hood it is definitely a wide block "Polly" engine. But the guy knew nothing about the car or the value in its current condition. It would make a good project for someone, but not for me. I'll just keep working on the Valiant. Honestly I think the car is worth around 2k as is....

I was one voting it a LA engine, so it was the very first time I was wrong in a post lol. In the Cl pics I just did not see any bolts in the valve cover tops, plus the covers seem to be more "rounded" than the polys, which seem to have a sharper square type edge. The intake manifold just seems to look LA also.
