318 MP Valve Covers on a 273

Hey I have an extra set of 318 Mopar Performance valve covers and I was wondering if they would fit on a 1965 273 without issue? Anyone have any experience with this?

I assume you mean the aluminum finned style? I think they should fit just fine if you have a stock intake manifold. Otherwise, you may have to grind a little off the bottom lip where the intake meets the covers, easy fix and very common on SB Mopar angines, Thicker gaskets may help to. You will also have to run a different breather cap and PCV valce, your 273 ones won't work, they have a stove pipe style, You will need a newer style rubber grommet and PCV valve (all easy to get)
