No I didn't watch the entire video just skimmed my way through it but it looks like the main journals were ground undersize .010? and standard bearings were used because apparently UTG and LOG don't own or know how to use a $20 digital caliper--nevermind a micrometer set. I stated it was not the damn lifters and pushrods being too short. I stated it was either eating itself ( I still think there are more nasty surprises ahead) or it was mixed up caps or wrong mains etc... The way the oil pressure when hot actually decreased as Nick increased RPM (kept testing?) told me it was fugged mains. I know because I've had it happen.
A couple (few) of thoughts here:
1. Something is still wrong IMO because of how labored it sounds when cranking.
2. Too large of a clearance is actually the best case scenario for a number of reasons
3. As it is it ain't gonna make 300hp
4. It sounds like he is unwilling to completely disassemble and clean it properly--hence my comment on more nasty surprises ahead.
5. This is a trainwreck I cannot look away from. J.Rob
