318 radiator

will a 318 radiator be good enough for a 340 or should i get newer one and what other radiators are yall running or what about one out of slant six

The 22" 318 radiator will be fine. Just look for one out of a car with A/C, they are high capacity.

I would avoid the /6 radiators. Mostly they are low capacity rads that (although may work) wouldn`t be sufficient in cooling a high horsepower engine. There`s a fair amount of small V/8 273 and 318 cars out there still that were equipped with A/C so it shouldn`t be too hard to find one. If by chance you can`t find one there are some good aftermarket radiators.
