318 ran last season: 030 over KB-845 pistons, "302" heads w/stock 1.78/150 valves ported by me(I don't know what I'm doing), comp XE-274S solid cam, air gap intake, 750 mech sec carb, 1-5/8 doug's headers, 2800 stall 904, 4.30 gears, 3200# car went best of 13.34@101 at Bandimere(5800' alt), 8000' density altitude. More gear/convertor would have helped a bunch.
Wow! My old 318 w/ 302 heads with a 150 shot of N2O only went 14.5 at Bandimere...I switched heads to a set of home ported J's (everything else the same) and it went 13.9...mind you both runs were on a 150 shot of nitrous...
