My buddy found me this 340 air cleaner for $40, decided I would restore it and use it on my 318. Found the correct paint thanks to a member on here for pointing me in the right direction. I think it came out nice. And yes I know they did not come on 318's but its such a cool air cleaner!

Rafael , you stole that thing ! Looks great , by the way !

What did you strip it with ?

You were lucky to get one in such good condition. So many are badly pitted, and people want a Kings ransom. Came out great, nice work.

$40 is a great price on that! That is a 15-20 year ago price. Not sure why they sell for so much, they are plentiful.

What paint did you use?

I was told duplicolor hemi orange.

This is the correct orange, he mixes it and it was a good match. It is not the same as hemi orange. 1 can did the whole air cleaner.

He also makes the Orangasol texture paint that Chrysler used on interior pieces and early Go Wing Spoilers. Gave that a shot on my spoiler and it looks awesome.
