340 build just got it back home

73 340 in my 68 fastback barracuda formula s. The build stock crank and rods. Bored .030 over. Pistons Kb 243-030 , speed pro moly rings , clevite 77 mains and rod bearings. Cam, and lifters lunati 043 bracket master dur 285/285 lift .480/.480. Melting oil pump , heads are 587s that mildly ported and polished ,2.020/1.60 competition products stainless steel valves. Timing set Mrllins. Eddy performer intake ported and open up some. 1 5/8 to 3" headers 3" h pipe all the way to back. Msd box and dist ,750 dual feed Holley,blue elec holly fuel pump. Trans 727 shift kit ,489 rear 390 gears.

Sounds like its going be a nice engine, ball park how much did this build cost. If you don't mind saying. I'm looking to possibly building a small block and I am wondering what it could cost.

A very good friend did the machine and port work and built everything and charge me 1400.00. I think I got a good deal

Got the motor running today sounds good. Friend who built it came over and we got it going. Fired right up.
