What cam would you say?

I use Racer Brown and Cam Motion for most of my cams. I do NOT use off the shelf cams for anything. There is also Bullet, which is the old Ultra Dyne stuff. I have used it, but I was never fond of it. Jones cams.

Just get a cam for exactly what you have. It aint hard to get in the twelves.

Unless you are me. I cant get a 340 into the 14's.

I'm only taking the guys word for it that I bought the motor from. Super avid mopar guy and he said he last checked it at 10.5. But then again, that was back in the 80s the last time he was running it. The motor is still unmolested since he last tinkered with it and all I did was try cleaning the carb to make it fire, which it did. Either way, I still have the ability to make it a higher CR before I decide it's ready to go. Regardless though, I really appreciate the info!

Take into consideration he might just be referring to the static compression ration vs the actual dynamic cr. GL with your build.
