Pulled the cam today,the only numbers are between the lobes at the rear off the cam 015 and 5 between two lobes.It also has red paint at back between lobe and cam gear.What is it?

Scrap metal, if its out and you don't know what it is.
The numbers that matter will be on the very back, or sometimes on the very front directly behind the cam gear. Other than that, it's mystery metal. You can V block it and measure the lift. Post it back and we can probably come to a close guess.

No stamped numbers except what I posted.I don,t think I'll scrap it ,it's in great shape. seems to have quite a bit of duration.When I get time I can figure out the specks.Just wondered if it might be a stock unit.With two fours on it when I found it someone obviously tried to hotrod it .Thanks for all your input.
