I decoded a Fender Tag and was wondering about some of the "options".

Also does anyone know about the Export dusters (read the fender tag break down).

Hi scrag, your be sure that the eighth digit of VIN is 8? your review, however, the eighth digit decodes the assembly plant, it really can be B, which means it was manufactured in DodgeMain, Hamtramck, MI. as you determine that this be export?

It is a B vice an 8 so it was built in Hamtramck. I am just trying to decide if it is worth the time to invest in it. What is the price range of a car in fair - poor condition (body has rot between the rear window and trunklid, front fenders, hood and trunk lid have been replaced - needs dash pad is shot and the cluster is mariginal - seats look good, headliner is MIA, surface rust in the trunk and inner fenders - minor dents in the lower rear qutrs and the right side looks like it may have bondo. Engine is all original - has the manifolds and exhaust on it, tranny is out disk/drum set up 8.75 but not certain what gear it has....
