I am selling most of my shelf stock for persoanl reasons.
Here is one of my 340 engines:
1968 dated code standar bore block for a 1969 Dart Swinger according to the stamped number on the block comes with the following and per the pictures:
Block: casting numbers 0943 2780930-340-1 means first core casting and in some opinions the best casting as was the first run using the core castings. Dated 6-17-68 with a stamped number LM23P 9B226 276. Cylinders are not scored, are standard bore with the ususal slight lip at the top, standard lifter bores etc.
Heads: X-heads with 202 valves, will need to be rebuilt
Steel crank with all caps and bolts and original internal balance dampener, balanced and rebuilt connecting rods and standard bore pistons by House of Balance.
Windage tray with all bolts, oil pan, pickup tube, correct 340 intake, water pump, timing chain cover and miscelaneous pieces such as carb sping bracket, cam trust retainer, new intake water neck and various other items in the box.
I will crate, palletize and ship this using freight company and will work with you on your best choice of companies.
