I bought this 340 barracuda Completely disassembled. I am noticing upon assembling that the exhaust manifold dumps about an inch off the oil filter. I can’t even imagine how to bolt up the exhaust pipe or what kind of bend it will have to make for this to work. Is this normal? The drivers side has a little more room but looks like it will be heating up the starter.
Does anybody have any photos of a stock passenger side exhaust they can share?
I have circled the end of the exhaust

You need a right angle oil filter adapter. Start a want ad. That's the best place to find one.

If you buy a right angle adapter, be sure it includes the special bolt. I see them for sale often with the bolt missing.
