340 heads

I am tring to figure out how to use the heads that came with my 340 when I got it. They are redone Xs, when they were rebuild for some reason or another they milled the rocker shaft mounting areas off I'm guessing to use roller rockers? Could I use these http://www.billetracingparts.com/W-2 Mopar Rocker Stands.html and stock rockers or would I have to go to a roller cam? If so what is the best rockers to use in a budget build?

you dont need to mill the pedestals off the use roller rockers...they milled the pedestals off to raise and move the rockers for taller installed height and larger springs/retainers..

also probably to correct rocker sweep...

you kind of need to find what stands they were milled for.....Do you need offsetted stands(w2/w5) or stands the put the shaft on center but higher?

and same thing with shafts....do you need shafts that are off center or on center?
