I have a few 340 manifolds for sale from Corpus Christi, Texas. These are the 1 7/8" exit hole passenger 340 manifolds used on the 70s 340 A bodies except the one silver one (on top of pic) which is a B body 340 driver's manifold. The ones with functioning heat riser go for $125, without riser $110. First come first served!! All prices plus shipping.

I know that you bore the 360 magnum manifolds out to 2 1/4", how much do you think you could bore these manifolds? Or do you not recommend doing that?

I've been asked that question many, many times. I've measured the 1 7/8" manifolds and came to the conclusion that the most I could comfortably remove is about 1/16"- 1/8" which is hardly worth the trouble. So maybe out to 2" max but I couldn't guarantee it since I've never tested one. I'm sure some material can be removed but the big difference is in the casting thickness. The 360 magnum manifolds are over-engineered so there's plenty of material in this area.

No problem! The more questions that get asked the more everyone will know about these manifolds.

Do you have one with a good heat riser with a 71 casting date?

Yes, I have 2. One is 9-8-71 and the other is 8-2-71. Both have good heat risers. Would you like to see some pics (close up)??.

Production date on car 8/71. Was hoping for something a little earlier. Can you show a close up of 8/2/71?

Here are the pics you requested. The manifold is in good shape and the heat riser is free, it rotates and returns very smoothly. It's missing the tension spring but I can take one off one of the other manifolds I have.
