Hi all, In search of some or all of the following: 340LA Main Caps, Bolts, Windage Tray & Oil Pan.

My block was torn down in 91 for a rebuild when Mt. Pinatubo blew up in the Philippines. I was able to ship my bare block out as a "table" but could not rescue anything else. Been sitting in my garage ever since.

Hoping someone has a fragged block out in the shed they'd be willing to sell the above parts.

My block is pining to go to the shop, just need the caps to make it worth the trip.

Cheers

I have 318 main caps, bolts and windage tray with bolts. I don't know if 340 main caps are any stronger than 318, but it will for sure need a line hone.

318-360 cap bolts on the left. 318 360 windage tray on the left first picture, The others are 340,

Here are the pics. I haven't taken the mains off this block yet. It was was recently rebuilt, but the PO got water in a few cylinders and now the block needs sleeved. I got another block and am just using the best parts off this one. I can remove the caps and get better pics if needed. All the main bolts are there including the special ones for the windage tray.

Main caps can be kind of an ordeal. Caps from another block probably wont fit close enough to machine and work, especially rear caps. May take several sets to round up enough to get a workable set. I have a set of 318 caps but they are not as tall as 340 caps. The rears are the same for 318 and 340 so the rear cap may be of interest to you. Let me know if you have an interest.
