I have a set of 1968-70 340 x heads just pulled off a running .30 over 318. I would like to trade for a 8 3/4 suregrip center chunk. Would like 3:55 to 4:10 gears just as long as its not noisey at all. Both are to big to ship so it would have to be a meet up. Im in south central ky

Are you looking for a straight trade ???
A suregrip 8 3/4 pumpkin goes for more $$ than a pair of X heads. Just my opinion you may disagree.
 
I didn't want to be that guy. Good used Sure grips in any case are 600 Plus with desirable gears on the low side, and they fit any 8 3/4 in any body style.. Where as heads are limited to La engines only. Heads have a street value of maybe $400 to the right guy... You might have to kick in or sell heads out right and squeeze for the 3rd member.
