Not the end of the world...but I can see it.
Several years ago I purchased a 360/300HP Magnum crate engine. I have a 727 automatic transmission for it. Information received with the engine said when using a 727 transmission I should use a torque converter Part number P4876870...(which is now obsolete) and balance it with external balance weight kit P5249843.
Questions:
1. I want a standard converter (not a stall converter) and don't know what to purchase.
2. Do I balance it using the external balance weight kit P5249843?
3. Will any flexplate work?
Any help will be greatly appreciated

b&m magnum 727 flexplate is what i used, its weighted so no weights need to be added.2200 convertor should be fine,or stock 340 11"

We sell magnum flex plates with the weight installed on flex so you would use a neutral balance converter for a small block. I think B & M is discontinued. PM if you want ore info or see if you can find us on the web,, magnummopar.
