i have a 78 dodge 360 i recently got some reworked heads for it a crane energizer cam with 272 (thats wat it says on the barcode tag) its a mild cam i was told and i plan on getting a four barrel intake and carb wat kind horse power numbers aam i gonna be looking at? any estimate will help i do plan on running headers and a full 3 inch exhaust with 3 inch cherry bomb extremes

280 hp maybe.

I'd go 2 1/4 exhaust 3 is overkill.

stick w/ 2 1/2 exhaust on this build.

290'ish maybe, if you said you had new pistons and a good ratio then I would say just around 300hp'ish-315hp

Go 8.0 to 1 with a .750 lift roller and 3.5" exhaust with a stock converter and a 2.76 gear.

i already have a cam its a 272 and i was thinking more of 3.23 and 300 to 315 im happy with i read the thread that i can get the gas mileage in the 17 to 20 range which is nice out of a 70s car if it actually does that i live about 20 miles from anything so mpgs is kinda needed and i was told that 3 inch exhaust is over kill even though i have a 3 inch cherry bomb extreme out a 3inch exit on my ford 4x4 with a stock 302 and it sounds like a muscle car with just one pipe
