3:91 gear. nothing real special..
suspension is only beat 6 cyl rear springs and air shocks that have been there about 10 years and 318 torsion bars with old shocks

the best run of the day for me was 12.27 @ 108 mph. i lauched it at about 3000 and it was pulling the left front tire about 3" off the ground all day....
the best runs with the exhaust caps on was 12.31 @ 107 mph but i was launching it at 2500.. i think it pretty much runs the same with or without the exhaust capped....

Car 71 dart

Weight no idea.

Gear ratio 3:91

Tire diameter 26"

RPM through trap

MPH through traps 12.81 babying it off the line because of the crappy street tires.

Well for me it was as follows:

85 360 block at only .060 over. I know don't go there.
First crank was stock .030/.030. Yeah I said first please don't ask.
318 rods.
KB 107's with file fit rings and about .009 gap IIRC.
MP windage tray with ARP main studs.
One X head and one J head that were ported to match flow.
Weiand single plane intake
Comp cams 280H cam set at 0
Old and leaking Headman headers
904 with alum. planetaries.
450 cfm vac. sec Holley that was wore out.
8 3/4 with a 3.91 open carrier
Turbo action valve body
235/65/15 BFG's

Leaving in second gear the car ran
1/8 8.19 @ 84mph
1/4 13.94 @ 104 mph

This was the definition of a budget build. I spend less in parts then I did in machine work.
