360 intake bolt length?

Digging through my bolt bucket, I realized I'm not sure the correct length the intake bolts should be. I assume they'll have a pilot tip and a captured washer.
 
not without pulling them but there are 2 lengths ... seems to me one was 1 1/2 " and one was 1" or 1 1/4"
 
I measured the hole depth on each one of mine and put in longest bolt it would take with out bottoming out.

Some holes are through holes with no bottom.... :bootysha:
 
It looked like the front two bolts should be longer, as the intake flange is thicker there. At least on the cast iron manifold I'm going to use.

The longer bolts hold down the throttle bracket on the drivers side rear.

Watch the pass side front intake bolt, the heater nipple gets in the way of getting it started. I sometimes use a shorter bolt in that one...
