360 LA valve covers....

Rite now I have some edelbrock chrome plated valve covers and I am not a fan of them. Soo with that said I'd like to pick up some new ones and had a question....

I have valve train noise due to the comp cams extreme model. Is one material better than the other to help reduce this noise?? As in stamped steel vs. aluminum? Or is it not much of a difference??

if you have valvetrain noise the cover wont make a differance on that noise unless the cover is hitting something.

oh i thought different valve covers would filter out some valve noise. Either way I guess i'm not that worried.

Thicker cast aluminum covers will not transmit the noise as readily as stamped steel. Won't elminate the noise but it will quite it down some.
