All 360 Magnums are external balance. Your year should come with the balance weight on the flex plate so you would use a neutral balance converter.

I believe the 360 and 360 mag have different external balances.

the 360 mags are a different weight then the 360 la blocks. All 360 mags were balanced the same, so you could see if there is a flywheel for a ram with a 360 from the same time and that should work.

Excellent insight. To the O. P. ? Are we installing a A - 833 4 speed Mopar trans, a 'TKO/Doug Nash five speed/T5 ? Inquiring minds, need more information.
