360 motor mopar / amc

I am looking to repower a 318 dart with a 360. I have an old 84/85 jeep 360. are the blocks the same or is it totally different.

Unfortunately amc/jeep engines are completely different,but the good news is mopar 360s are pretty common and reasonably priced.

would the 727 off the jeep be adaptable?

I'm not sure if the bolt pattern is the same , but the tranny is a Mopar tranny.

The Jeep engines can really make some killer power.
(LOL, I remember a guy that was laffed at for his Javlin, then he ran a guy who thought he'd be an easy kill and got pasted badly. )

No,the exterior/internals are the same but different bolt pattern,and rumbles right amcs will run!.
