I have a 67 cuda and I pulled mine... it takes a little work so it's not going to just fall out. LOL
What my deal was that the crank and the K-member wouldn't let the pan come out. I removed the nuts from the engine mounts and jacked the front of the motor up and the pan came out.
Your welcome.... also you might have to drop the drag link. I think I had to but not sure because I have took apart things under there for all different type occasions.
I was able to remove my oil pan by breaking the inner tie rod connection with the center link on the passenger side, removing the idler arm bolt and sliding the steering linkage out of the way. Then, I just took the bolts out for the pan and it came right off.
