Did the 360 engine ever come with a factory installed windage tray?

Yup. The 360 cop motors (E58), Little Reds (EH1), and the 360 roller motors (pre-Magnum) had trays from the factory.

Has anyone modified a 340 tray to fit the wider 360 main cap bolt position?

here are some pictures

My guess would be a 340 windage tray would work on a 318. Same stroke crank, same main cap bolt spacing.
No they are different . They are the same as a 360. The bolts are different for a 318 but can be shimmed using Hemi head bolt washers as seen above. 318 360 are the same I believe I have all three I can check and get some pics when I come across them in this mess. There is a big box of them here somewhere

Oldmanmopar, is the tray in your picture that has the slotted mounting holes a Mopar
Performance P4529790 windage tray?

Also, interesting is the two different style main cap bolts that the tray mounts to.
Any info. on what came with what?

I just pulled my 360 apart, i dont think so, I'll look tomorrow. If it does I'll post pics to you. The pan is real short, oil pan that is

The tray with the slotted holes came from a 1978 318 4bbl police car. The shorter bolt with the taller head is for the tray with the slotted holes. These with fit a 273, 318, 360. The longer bolts with the shorter heads are for the 340 which have taller main caps. the washers make them usable on the 273-318-360. The trays interchange as long as you have the correct bolts.

I have one in my shed from a 73 Ramcharger 360. Factory. So we know they came with one.

Thanks, Rob. That was an old post. I've since cured my problem with a very slightly used Kevco from a FABO member. Everything looks and fits perfectly.
