I am looking to get a little horsepower boost this spring. I am told a blow through carb, single plane intake (eddy super victor) and a MSD boost retarded ignition box is a solution. Thoughts?
An eddy air gap and a basic Holley 750What are you starting with???
Looking into torqstorm.Blow through carb? So you have or plan to have a centrifugal supercharger or turbo?

Dual exhaust, double roller timing chain, compression 10.5-1 comp cam 268?
.I am looking to get a little horsepower boost this spring.
I favor;
alloy heads, 11/1 compression, and a cam in the 223 to 230 range, 3.55 gears, and a Commando 4-speed. Caution; you will need 295s in the turns, cuz sideways traction goes away when you step on the gas. For the newbe, it's best to stay with an automatic..... lol.
Google says you are at 308ft elevation, yur 360 won't need much help, to.
Your compression ratio is too high, IMO.Dual exhaust, double roller timing chain, compression 10.5-1 comp cam 268?
I was just thinking to write that. It would be a whole lot easier and better.You're going to need to pull it, tear it down and build a blower engine from the ground up.
IMO, maximizing what you have would be a cheaper route over the super charged expense and the related costs not in the TorqueStorm kit. And those extras can get a bit pricey.
Pro porting the Edelbrock heads and a new cam, lifter & set is cheaper than the super charged itself. True, it won’t have the power of the rising boost curve of the torque storm, but it will be really close in power if you choose wisely. Just don’t fling parts at the engine.
THINK FIRST.
So how does this work for the OE poster and his supercharger thoughts? Ehhhh, it doesn’t.....
