I have a '72 Valiant and am wondering if the power steering box I have (a Firm Feel unit) would still fit if I swapped a 383 wedge from a 1968 B-body in to replace this 360 small block I am using.

I know the oil pump is somewhat in that area, and just wondered if non-power steering was all that would fit a 383/A-Body setup.

Any information will be appreciated. Thanks in advance...

With the right motor mounts and headers (such as Schumacher), power steering will not be a problem.

Those are Tri-Y, fenderwell headers, right?

Does TTI make an under-the-car header for a B-Block in a '67-76 A-Body?

Are the Schumacher headers the same for the 383 and the 440? I know the deck height is taller on the 440's (raising the exhaust ports a little) , but sometimes, that makes little or no difference in the application. Also, are the same motor mounts used for the 383's and 440's in an A-Body? I imagine they are, but I thought I'd ask.

Thanks for the reply, Duster440!
