383 Tunnel Ram?????

Just wondering if the 383 weiand Tunnel Ram gaskets are the same as the 440?? I asked summit--- "We don't know, we don't sale 383 tunnel rams anymore"...

Yeah, they are the same. I think I still have some of those in the gasket box, from when I tried a tunnel ram on my 383. I will check to see if I still have them this weekend, and mail them to you if you want them.

The tunnel ram killed my combo when I tried it, over a half second. So it was not on there long, the TM6 went back on.
Had a friend who ran a 383 with a tunnel ram for years, and it was consistent low 11s in a 68 Satellite.

There's also the option of making your own.

You should be able to get a sheet of gasket material from your local parts store, though they may have to order it.

Something like Fel-Pro 2498 may work, though you may want to look at some of the other compositions.
