You mean the water pump inlet don't ya, anyway it should be on the drivers side.

Didn't later versions, like the 400 in the late years have it on the otherside?

Don't think the 400's did but the 1973-79 motorhome 440's had the pump with the inlet on the passenger side.

are you going for a clone or just a big block car I put a pass side inlet on my 71 dart but it depends on your radiatior where the outlet is

Guys Thanks For The Help I Saw A Guy On Fbbo Had Them For Both Sides And I Didn't Know Which One To Get Looking To Be Correct For A Clone Thanks

If you're looking to be correct for a 383 then it's only the drivers side inlet and if you have to buy a new one go aluminum, they're cheap, lite and look better than the cast, I think anyway. You can always paint it.
