[Found!] 390 Cfm Carb

I'm looking for a 390 cfm carburetor for my slant six, recently purchased a 4bbl intake manifold, now I just need the carba and what not.

Is that 390 recently rebuild or will I need to do that, also is the 450 in the same condition

their both used carbs , i've never run them . came from a /6 guy with other unrelated parts . 390 cfm pics , the second pics are the 450 cfm

I haven' t seen that secondary fuel squirter mod in years. Man we did some dumb stuff back then!

Is a 390 not what youd reccomend for a slant?

^^ Not at all, the 390 is a good carb for a 4bbl equipped six, its just that squirter mod is unorthodox. ^^

It's a good carb choice, but the "kit" with the squirter tubes came with a set of gears for the carb shafts that would open them both at the same time. If the vacuum is still on the secondary, dumping fuel down there is not a great idea. That modification can be reversed with another stock squirter! Carb is a good choice for a slant. Not trying to hijack the thread!
