390 Holley users ?

So, I have a new Holley 390 cfm #8007 on my car. The darn electric choke works everytime I shut down. Even after driving a hour when I go to start back up the choke kicks in and takes a while to back down. Anyone else have this problem?

Loosen it up and back it off some.

Which do you think is better,Holley or Edelbrock ?? Saw a nice Eddy 600 with Endura Chrome for my BLING factor I always keep in mind !!

I had a Edelbrock on another Slant several years back and it worked great.
I went with the Holley this time because I always see the 390 recommended for a Slant. Too soon to tell but so far so good.

Well,I'm gonna cross my fingers !!Went with a reman 600 Holley !!Can always rejet if necessary !

bummer its a 4160 but it will do you good...

start out with a 65 jet on the primary and a 6.5 pv depending on your final cam...

Yeah, in fact, it will be on the stock 170 before the weekend's out. No sense in buildin the one barrel when I have a good carb.

well the primaries are only like 200 cfm lol so it will be fine
