3spd man. to 727 swap

i was wondering what kind of bangin n cutting im gonna have to do to get my 727(small block) to fit in place of my floor shift 3spd in my 74' duster,where can i buy the transmission mount for the 727 also,can i use the same driveshaft?any info greatly appreciated

same mout, shorter driveshaft, no cutting necessary, but you'll have to plug the holes the clutch/shifter linkage went through.

What engine do you have? A 904 is physically smaller and will hold up fine behind a small block if built right. It is also lighter and shifts quicker. Just a thought....

a 360 will be hooked to it,the 727 was mated to this 360 from the factory and it came out of a 73' polara
