4.10 Dana gears

I've got a set of 4.10 Dana gears with the 1350 yoke I'd like to sell. Asking $175.00 plus the ride. I will trade the "gears only" for a set of 4.56 and we can pay for our own shipping. Will 4:10s and 4:56s work on the same carrier?? I recently had a rear end "expert" tell me the 4:10s required a different carrier. I had thought anything under 4:10 (3:73) would require a different carrier.
I have 4:56 in my car now with a spool and want to go to 4:10s but probably not if it requires a new carrier too.

I have a couple sets of 4.56s, but I don't really want to spend the money to ship/trade. I'm currently in need of some 3.73s for a 742 case...

How much do you think it costs to ship a ring and pinion? I don't really need two sets of 4.56s so I'd be willing to work something out.

I don't currently have any gears for an 8 3/4 rear and I need to sell or trade the Dana 4.10's for a set of 4.56's. I will search around and see if 4.10's will fit the same carrier as the 4.56's.
