Hey guys,

My 74 SBP Duster came on 4 flats, and I need to find some cheap rims w/ non flat tires so I'm able to roll it in and out the garage. I'm not looking for anything special, just tires that aren't flat or leaking. Just need something so the car is movable by pushing.

Local pickup around 15068, 15237, or 15209 preferred. Let me know what you have.

Thanks!

If your not looking for original ones go to your local salvage yard and get Neon dummy spares. Most are same as small bolt pattern, you may have to enlarge the center hole but they cut easy. If you want original I have a matching 69 dated set of small bolt pattern 14 x 4 1/2 wheels with good used tires that hold air. Also have another 69 dated set with better RWL tires. Zip is 17086 PM if interested

I'll have to check the local pick apart on Saturday. I'd be interested in the original, but the 3 hour drive (and possibly price) just isn't in it for me. Like I said, I just need something so I can push it in and out of the garage.

Thanks for the tip. What year neon should I be looking for?

Go to one of tbose used tire shops tbat seem to be on every corner now days. Tell them you need 4 junk tires that hold air. Thats 4 less he has to pay disposal fees on.

Neon rims do NOT have the same bolt pattern. The '97-'09 Neon's and SRT4's use a 5x100mm bolt pattern, which is not the same as 5x4".

5 x 4" = 5 x 101.6mm

Yes, it's enough to make a difference. If you're just looking for rollers, they'll be ok. But don't use them on the street. In most cases they will "bolt up", but they will also side load the studs when you tighten down the lugs. You may get away with that if your studs are in good condition, but you're significantly increasing the load on the studs, which increases your chances of failure. The studs (and all bolts) have a much higher tensile strength than they do shear strength.

Exactly. This should be an even cheaper option than buying the wrong size Neon spares.

Thanks for the warning on the neon rims!

I tried this based off the size on them now, and no one seems to have the correct size.

I could hook you up with 6 if you were local, two on steel wheels and 4 are American Racing wheels, all small bolt pattern and taking up space in my garage!. PA to IL not so great shipping rates... If you are making any trips to Illinois to do any deer hunting we could work something out!!

Here is what the OP said I'm able to roll it in and out the garage Yes, the donut spare in the trunk. I bought them for $5 a piece a lot cheaper than paying to remove old tires and install old used ones and hope they hold air!, They fit just fine for rollers that very small size difference don't matter for ROLLERS that is why i never mentioned it. I have used them numerous times for rollers have a set on a Dart here now. The OP only wanted to use them to roll in and out not for road use where did that come from? Who would use all dummy spares for road use? Oh that's right i have seen some! I am out, Unbelivable!

I've got a full set of American racing wheels, 14x7 with sbp, and new larami performer hp tires only 25 miles on them, they still have the rubber whiskers on them, 375$ obo for wheels and new tires, I'm in southern Michigan pm me

Hey everyone,

Thanks for all the replies, I've worked something out with another member. So as of right now, consider this problem solved.

If your car has wheels and bad tires take them off and have tubes installed. They just need to hold the car up. tmm

Just wanted to close this out, got a set from mrdodge today.

Thanks for the help!
