Howdy. Im starting to gather parts for my valiant. Looking for recommendations on a clutch and pressure plate. Here is what i have.

1964 valiant, 400 horsepower or so 360, 323 gears. Probably will never race it, but want something reliable and durable. Thanks

I run a Ram Powergrip HD clutch in mine. Best one out of all the ones I ran. Been in my car for over 10 years. Few runs at the track and mostly street. No problems at all.

What bellhousing/flywheel are you using? Any preference between Borg & Beck and a softer diaphragm style pp?

I found a NOS Schiefer B&B 3000 lb pp for my 68 340 Dart, with my bad knees, I can hardly push it in

I had a B&B with the overcenter spring, worked well but you had to give it a good push.

Replaced it with a Centerforce pp/clutch/bearing/flywheel, removed the spring, easy peasy no complaints.

After many years, removed it for a trans swap and just assumed it might need to be replaced so I ordered all new again. Turns out the clutch was just as thick with material as the new one.

Liked it so much put the same in another car.

10.5 factory bellhousing and factory flywheel that I have to have brewers balance

If you are using an oem cast flywheel, this is the diaphragm clutch I would use at 400hp: Brewer's Performance - Mopar A833 4-Speed Transmission and Component Specialists

If you want to use B&B 3 finger: Ram-88773, it's not currently on our website. 10.9" x 23 for use on 11.625" bolt pattern. Full faced lining on both sides.
