Hi.. I attached a few photos. I'm hoping everything is good ...it feels pretty tight when I shift it I just want to make sure it's all correct.

Shouldn't the rods be on the outside of the levers?

64 Dart? What mounting plate are you using?
Yep, completely wrong. The shifter should be in the hole in the floor and the linkage is below the floor. I have never seen linkage in the interior.

Pretty sure my 1-2 and 3-4 shift rods go above the crossmember like that. I think he is just missing the 4 speed hump, makes it look wrong. Bet he is doing a conversion.

Thanks..It's a 4 speed transplant. So I don't have anything to pull from. I would appreciate any pics

Only one I could find offhand. Original 64 A-Body Hurst shifter. Two above the cross over and the reverse goes below. Revers arm points up.

Those members that sell transmission humps here are for conversions. Just the shifter comes through the floor.

Right, but when he puts the hump on, I bet it will look fine. At that point only the shifter will come through the floor.

I was concerned with what side some of the clips go and with the positioning of the shift pads...the pictures will help . Hope to fire this thing up soon....It's been a long journey!
