Linkage woes

Shifter mechanism seems to be junk (aka I don't understand how it's suppose to function)
Wrong rods?

This is as close as I can get the runout on the bell. .022 so technically .011

mounted the clutch and pressure plate. bearing retainer didn't line up. made a couple phone calls and got it figured out.

loosened the pressure plate bolts, mounted the bellhousing to align the clutch. snugged up two bolts through the clutch fork whole and bam. went in like butter

Those weights are well known for sticking to one side of the pressure plate and will cause a severe balance issue with your rotating assembly. My balance guy cut them off cause every time he cut the balance machine off and turned it back on the balance would change. He said that is terrible for a street car that will spend a lot of it's time at idle and at cruise speeds. It will likely beat the crap out of the bearing so I had him remove them. It will still work just fine. Just food for thought.
