Got a 4 speed trans in trade, what is it???? The trans tail number is: 97477-2 The front housing has the numbers C95664; C97372; 1X23x67; the retainer spline number is C94798; the tail housing measures 13". I counted 23 splines. Let me know if you know what it is A-body, or B-body. It is complete Hurst shifter, shifting arms, front retainer and the spline moves freely. thanks

If unmolested it is a 67-68 A body 30 spline output 4 speed.
Do you know what is worth? I have no need for it, my cars are all auto....
My son lives in South Carolina and will be here in September....it would mean a free ride
Input shaft is broke off. It is a 67-70 a-body 4spd trans. I would need a rebuild. Shifter mechanism is a factory hurst. $ 900 - as is would need to see it with the side cover off and feel it turn

Need a picture of the other side, there may be a pad there that is milled flat around 3/4" X 3" with numbers on it, that will tell you what it came out of...
