Does a 883 mopar 4 speed have the same bolt pattern, length input so on as a muncie gm type trans?

Uh..........yes and no.............

Although there WERE 833 OVERDRIVE units made which bolted onto GM bells and had GM spline input shafts. I don't recall what their length was.

Once again, that is OVERDRIVE and was manufactured specifically for GM applications by New Process. To my knowledge, no straight A833s were made in GM pattern

Mopar 4 speed and a Muncie 4speed? No, completely different bellhousing pattern. Mopar imput shaft is a lot longer.

Here's another I found on ebay. From the shifter, this is out of a van. To repeat, this would NOT be found in a Mopar, it was built on order, made for GM by New Process. Notice the 10? spline Chev clutch spline

These boxes seem to be known as a NP440 for GM
