I'd go with a Hughes whiplash it'll help raise the compression, if the tm6 is what you have, it's gotta be better than stock right? If I had a stock intake, or the tm6, I'd slap it on there... Shave those 906s down some port match the intake to it, I have a Holley street dominator that would be nice for a street motor, it's had the ports cleaned up, it's had plenum work done I may get rid of it for a good deal, maybe do some trading it would be better than the tm6 for your engine look up the older articles by Steve dulcich and some of the other mopar guys on hotrod network, go to hot rod magazines website and do a search for mopar intake test there's a few they did with different engines and the street dominator and the torker2 both usually had similar torque numbers to dial planes such as the perf rpm, in some areas actually a little more and had more peak hp than the dual planes.
 
The low deck motors can spin a lot of rpm, with the proper combo they'll spin like a small block, I have a 400 myself and a while back was doing a lot of google searching and there's a lot of guys were talking about spinning stock bottom end 383s and 400s well past 6grand some as high as 7 grand or more, with the ported heads, tm6, 750, and 509 it may not have much down low and wouldn't want to live well at low rpm but full throttle high rpm it'll wake up. You guys dissing the low compression motors but there's been a few that with bolt ons have made over 400hp read this article An Error Has Occurred! they made over 400hp without ever going above 8:1 compression on roadkill they slapped eddy rpm heads and an old isky .484 cam and made pretty good numbers in their crop duster, look up roadkill crop duster on YouTube the smogger motors were dynoed with all the emissions crap on them as well as all accessories like alternator, Ac, smog pump, and older ones were dynoed without all that stuff robbing hp so by time you scrap all the emissions crap the only thing holding them back power wise was the lower compression there's somewhere on the inter web they did dyno comparisons between smogger 440s and older high compression 440, with just the water pump no other things hooked up and there was only about a 40hp difference...
 
Well guys sorry but it's on hold right ...been having pains in my chest and left arm so I'm waiting to hear from the doctor..also sold 1 of my dump trucks and filed my divorce..I'm tired and readymove on in my life and not have to worry about what's going to be took or gave ..I do plan to finish it up but right now life is going a different way then I plan ...chassis car is good but fuel pump was leaking so it's been sent out to be fixed ..maybe we can make a pass on it this year but who knows ..that's life in a nut shell but time to let some stress go ..nothing is worth life..will keep you all posted cause this thing needs to be done..everything is almost there
 
Hang in there. I developed heart palpatations during my divorce that stopped the day it was final!!!!!!!!!!!! It might not be much fun but you'll come out ok on the other side. One step at a time my friend.
 
Thanks guys I peep in a lot but don't post much as I really don't have a lot to say just looking around ..but I'll be fine just have to take a step back take a break and stop the worries and trying to replace stuff with other crazy stuff that makes no sense the next day next week or next month ..live and learn..

Run anLS3 and get into 10's with better mileage and good handling...
 
Just had 3 blood clots and 3 strokes 13 weeks ago. Made major changes and put several things on hold myself. Good luck to you! Do any and all therapy the docs tell you. I was told I should have died, but my previous health and God kept me alive. All the stuff is just stuff. Worrying who gets its a pain. Sorry about your health earthmover. I've been following this post for a long time and it's been stressful for you for a long time, but sounds like your are taking the steps to get through it. The car isn't worth nothing to you if you can't enjoy it. Get better soon hope to see some pictures and videos

Funny how mopar folks get crazy when u talk about a street car that makes 430hp stock.....
 
It's also funny how LS fanboys like to ride that train for all it's worth...It's called in group bias...and the same thing applies to many in the LS crowd.

I'm pretty sure new hemis and coyotes are pushing over 400hp stock too...what's that new car with 700 hp? Oh yeah-the Hellcat...pretty sure it's not an LS powered car. What's that other one that makes 526 hp from an N/A 5.2L V8? Oh yeah--the GT350...that's not an LS powered car either.

There's no bias here, man--you're dropping the fanboy comments; I personally like the LS platform engines because they're a lightweight strong well balanced powerplant, but that's not my choice...just like it's not the author's choice. But please, do go on and keep pushing your division...and we'll keep paying attention to the thread entitled low buck don't give a... about a guy who already had a 400 and tossed some low buck mods against it for his car that he didn't want to spend a whole lot of money on (ya know, like a new engine, trans, driveshaft, custom headers, etc)
