400 to 512 Build

not sure if your asking me but if so it was on the hood when i got it from a freind so i wouldnt have to cut up my factory hood...i plan to use it on my build if it fit until i get a new glass hood..thanks
 
Hey Joe,glad to hear you,ve dropped your compression to 10.6.This will save you huge $$$ in fuel,which the extra $$ will be needed for slicks,drag radials whatever...My friend I race with (75BlueDuster)has a 383 with alumi Eddy heads and I,ve been telling him about the 400/512 builds,but he,s working with what he has.He still can,t catch my little Early-A with sb:snakeman:.LOL.Keep moving forward with the build,waiting to see/hear it in the springtime!:-D
 
ive been keeping a eye on this build i plan to do a 512 i hope soon..

I still have a ways to go. I'd like to see some dyno numbers by maybe May. Even though I'm biulding on a budget, it's still not cheap. :)

Thanks pb, I'd like to see the CR at about 11:1 but I really don't see any way to make that happen. I just have to be careful to not over cam the engine and make the low end super soggy.
