I figured i'd ask how this build sounds to people who have done stroker mopars before. I plan on building it after winter break at school.
1980 360 .030 over
forged or cast 4" crank can't decide yet
internally balanced
stock rods
forged pistons about 9.5-10:1
stock 360 heads w/2.02 valves p+p
air gap intake
eddy 750 cfm carb
high volume oil pump
2500 stall stock converter
Crane powermax H-288-2 cam
-2600-6000RPM, 226,230 adv. duration @.050,
-110 lobe separation,.458,.456 lift
904 tranny
probably tti step headers
3.23 sure-grip rear 8 3/4 rear
maybe 100 shot nitrous
my plans are for about 400 flywheel hp easy. do you think i should build it to rev past 6000 or would i have to upgrade too much to take it. i know the heads will hold me back but they will be upgraded eventually student loans can't afford aluminum heads. but i think thats it any opinions on it would be great. is there anything that should be upgraded. this will be the first performance motor i've ever built so i'm up for options.
thanks for any advise
