408 Crankshaft

Plus BPE cranks forged cranks are 695 best price out there for a forged crank almost the same price you would pay for a cast crank

The older cast Mopar 4" cranks are junk. Not sure who made them, but I had one break in half ~12 years ago in a VERY mild 408.

The old MP ones were Scat and good peices. I know of several that are making over 500. One with nitrous makes 680 based on his mph. Some shops can f up a bologna sandwich. The eagle cast are definable entry level but I have one that's still living at 480hp and 20k hard street miles. I wouldn't use another one but that ones been good.

I have had a mopar cast crank in my dakota for about 8 years now with no issues. It is driven hard on the streets with at least a 150 shot on it.

I agree, stay away from Eagle for now. I've heard of too many quality issues. I vote Scat cast 4".
